Abstract CAJ

The aim of this CAJ project is to show that Formula One is not a sport that stays the same over the years. With changing regulations and rules, it is a sport that is on a constant alteration. The precise focus of my CAJ is going to be about this year’s regulations, as they are a major change in F1. Within this project I want to talk about this year’s main changes of a Fomula One car, such as:

·         the new nose
·         the changes of the front and the rear wing
·         new regulation of the engine and the usage of the fuel
·         the new gearbox
·         the enhanced Energy Recovery System (ERS)
·         and the weight

By discussing this points and comparing them to last year’s regulations, I made it generally intelligible how noticeable the changes are, even for someone who is not interested in this sport. The annual change of the regulations is seen as manslaughter of Formula One, whereas without these regulations, F1 would have stayed more expensive and less viable.
