These instructions for how to make a camera lucida are not helpful because they are very unclear. Second, the language used in that paragraph is too vague to get any useful information from it. It only tells you to “cut” and “glue” without elaborating on it. Even though there are some images depicting the result of those actions next to the text, they are useless because you do not know all the steps nor the order in which to execute them. Lastly, important information such as the needed material and an estimation of the time required are missing altogether. It would be very hard to build a camera lucida using these instructions.
